Where do I find my pool equipment's serial number?
The serial number is printed on the equipment label, usually on the side or back of the unit. For salt cells and chlorinators it is often on the cell body itself. Look for a label that says SN, S/N, or Serial.
What information can this tool decode from a serial number?
For most Hayward, Pentair, and Jandy equipment, the serial number encodes the manufacture date (year and day) and the manufacturing plant. Our decoder extracts this deterministically, with no estimation involved.
How does warranty status work?
